I do own a playbook, and enjoy the QNX platform. I will purchase a q 10 when available. My ipad 3 does have a lot more to offer in apps, however, there's a lot of things QNX can do that ios can't. When traveling, I find the PlayBook eminently more productive than the ipad. I have no financial investment in the stock market.
I wouldn't say I'm celebrating but if people think that hey, you're going to do better than we thought. That's good news. And if my company not only makes profits each quarter but able to sustain growth. It's a reason to celebrate. What difference does market share makes? Apple has less market share than android but their app store generates more profit.
But how come you don't like that people are happy even if the reasons are not all that great? I think it's stupid for people to celebrate a sport team winning. Saying they won but had nothing to do with the game other than watching it on to. But I'm glad they're happy for something rather than hating something.
Another delusion is the belief that device sales excelerate as you get further and further away from their product launch. Every launch that BBRY has ever had saw sales decelerate each month as they move away from the launch.
Simply put if the device is not selling after a 2 year hyped launch it isn't bullish.
