One year ago today, June 18, 2001, KKD went over 40. It's low of the day was 39.70. While it had done spectacularly in the months until then, having more than tripled, it has done nothing since.
Don't get me wrong. I am not now net short KKD and in fact have a small net long position vis-a-vis call options. My point is not that KKD is going to go down fast or soon, but that for a year now the market has recognized that the good news is priced in the stock. The stock got way ahead of the fundamentals. The fundamentals have continued to be good (whether that can continue longer is the ultimate question here) but the stock hasn't moved up because it's already priced in.
Good luck to all.
Detail, details, rosie... Details do not matter to True Believers, such as the whatever twit.
What matters is faith in gloppy donuts and krispy kreme management. Valuations, SSS comparisons, balance sheet manipulation, risks of international expansion, etc. what do these things matter?
""The stock will take a break, and then rise again."
"By take a break, I'm talking of the market action as a whole yesterday and today. "
That is not what you said. You said that the stock would take a break.
By take a break, I'm talking of the market action as a whole yesterday and today. It was up over 200 points on Monday, with a small gain yesterday, and a rough morning today, so far.
I can't believe that all of you think that KKD should do consistently better than what the market is doing on any given day.
"The stock will take a break, and then rise again."
That would be a break on top of a break. This overpriced pos hasn't gone anywhere for a year.Soon even the self-deceiving Kremorians will move on to another investment illusion, though they are becoming scarcer in this declining market.
"I like how that other poster says shorts always post at the end of the day"
I didn't say you post at the end of the day. I said.......
"You shorts always just happen to short more at the high of the day"
Just like a short, post in a distorted way. Twist something to your liking. Don't be concerned it's in WRITING....just make it say what you want.
I think it might bounce around a little, but eventually gravity will prevail.
I like how that other poster says shorts always post at the end of the day. LOL. In fact, I said i went short (again) at about 2 p.m., when the market was still open. HE posted his comment after market closed. But I'm glad he let me know i got lucky, and shorted at the days high.
