Interestingly if it can hold this gain to $5 over the next weeks we may see some real volume if institutional investors sit up and take notice when the earnings release happens. End of day fairly large purchase makes one wonder who bought at $5 today.
I looked at volume history, removed anomalies and this stand out as an exception due to the 10 day run of well above average volume. You can't look at the Yahoo avg because it's not adjusted for the splitt.
Also, it's a cup and handle with the handle ending Wed. Though, when there is unusual events, like this volume, the pattern seems not applicable. Then again, I can think of some reasons that it's quite valid.
Sorry, mo, I'm not much of a "pattern" person and cups with handles hold coffee and tea. My impression is that there will be some gradual recognition of the potential for real continued earnings and perhaps some early fund manager buying at $5 in small bites hoping to get in before there is greater notice esp. if earnings show momentum. The actions of the Brazil government will not go unnoticed and I disagree that rapid TB in the future won't be potentially profitable. All current TB diagnostics require compliance and patient reporting- both an obstacle in emerging market populations.
