I invite everyone to listen, to read, and think about this OUTDATED technology called LASIK.
We don't have that problem with ICL !
Yeah, when I lived in France, the French there were very very certain to tell French Canadians they weren't really French and didn't speak it correctly either. On the other hand, the French Canadians I know very pointedly state that they are French and not really Canadians :)
There was no doubt about it when I was living there that I was not French however. I'm pretty sure no one else has ever disemboweled the French language quite like I did in my attempts :)
BTW, the ICL and TICL are not uncommon in France. I had mine done in Munchen, but about a year later I visited a doc in Perpignan who was well known for ICL's for a check-up, to verify that all was going well.
I am a Canadian speaking one of the 2 official languages of Canada. My mother tongue is French. The Quebec province is a French province. The French Canadian are completely different from the French of France. The best comparison would be the Americans and the British : both are speaking English but...that's all. Your mentality and the British mentality are very very different. So the French Canadian and the French from France. In fact we are americans...speaking french. Simple as that.
We both live in North America and we are on the same wavelenght.
Now we can come back to STAA.
