It's weird hope people put neat little wrappers around the crap they get fed to hide the short sellers and volume selling t try to start tides that wipe out momentum. Buying the rumor, selling the news?? Are you mental? If people keep selling at the ask, it is going to go down, period. They're those that either use HFT's or rode the thing all the way up to short it with this pressure. The "sell the news" theories would've worked had they not gained quite a few reiterations the next day after the manufactured selloff due to a huge earnings beat. Are the shorts smarter than the analysts?
This rapid decline has got to be one of the weirdest I've ever seen, heralded on Yahoo's front page, and still went down? Manipulation is really taking any kind of EQUITY from equities.
And yeah, most of the analyst reiterated or upgraded it with a price point nearly 20% ahead where it is now. If you're going to be in it, you have to be in it. Stop setting up stop losses on stocks that have beat earnings and buy puts instead to protect your investment. You will always get accumulators on celebrity stocks and once they pull the trigger to start selling to protect or gain from a good short outing, the daytraders will nearly instantly hop of the boat and start selling and you can easily get it down below your stop-loss thresholds, esp on bad market days; which pretty much kills everything you had put into it. The only real way to beat this is to buy the gaps as a gift. It is.
I would love to have someone explain to me why LEN and the other home builders are not the greatest shorts around today. Up 300% with an economy that is being held together with threads. Shorting and selling calls is easy money from here. See you back in the 20's very soon.
