Small, initial purchase today. 1,000 at $1.90. I've read the financials, the statistics, etc., and what would be an almost sure thing if USA based, becomes a Las Vegas bet because of China base. Reward vs. Risk. Hope I win. A lot depends on whether or not they pay a dividend. If not, there is trouble ahead.
A dividend is not necessary but it would be a catalyst for an instant double or triple. There are valid reasons for the company not to pay any divs RIGHT NOW, but shareholders haven't been shown a lot of love in prior years. I don't think it makes or breaks the purchase decision; the company is real and the cash is real, dividends don't change a thing about that. But a little shareholder friendliness goes a long way. I'll be disappointed if they don't deliver on their promise but in the long term it shouldn't matter.
