Hard & fast quantitative guidelines aren't needed, because every source, including ALL those posted in this thread, agree with EVERY candlestick authority, that a doji occurs only when the close & open are almost identical.
Some even question whether a few pennies would count, unless maybe you're talking about Berkshire Hathaway.
You show a single source saying that several pennies still make a doji. You won't because you can't.
If the candlestick has any discernible body at all, it's not a doji.
