Doxycycline is commonly prescribed with Restasis either 50mg or 100mg bid. And doxycycline is NOT well tolerated by many with dry eyes which affects negatively efficacy and compliance. Question whether doxycycline was used in the clinical trials with Restasis and if doxycycline or any other concomitant drug is contemplated for RGRX's dry eye candidate either in the trial or (if approved) after in therapy. Freedom from doxycycline to alleviate dry eye would be a BIG plus.
Rosie, "I am all or none. I've always said that." Is this another selective memory issue? I thought you posted that you sold a "good amount" in the 1.00 to 1.15 range after the failed "volcano wound" trial.
Doxycycline is prescribed along with Restasis because Restasis alone is not effective in many patients. Therefore the question remains whether doxycycline or any other drug is contemplated in TB4 therapy. If TB 4 proves effective alone the advantage over Restasis will be HUGE!
