I shorted ACOM based on the simple fact that it really shouldn't be any more appealing than an Internet dating website that costs money. The main difference between an Internet dating website and ACOM is that ACOM requires more resources to do what it's doing than an Internet dating website. As such, I decided that ACOM should be shorted.
At the moment, it would appear that there is a continual interest by buyers into ACOM. However, from my web experience and technical perspective in technology, archival research, and digital reprograhy, I just don't see this website being a feasible stock. I can see it as a website that makes money, but in the next 3 to 8 months, it will definitely go down well below where it is right now.
Group psychology is keeping this stock up rather than technical aspects. Unless something is as appealing as Amazon or another IPO with a wide availability of commercial goods that are sold online and in demand (eBay), I don't see this stock being a good long stock.
