They actually had something like that in the 1994 movie, "Surviving the Game," starring Ice-T as Jack Mason:
"Jack Mason: [Aiming the gun at Burns] BANG! Jack Mason: Game over. [Unloads the gun, discards bullets.Drops the gun and starts walking away] Burns: [Burns gets up, picks up the gun, sees one bullet and loads it] It's my lucky day. Hey, Mason! Jack Mason: Burns, there's something you should always do when you find a gun. Burns: [Close up of gun, camera pulls in tight: we see barrel is obstructed] Say goodbye. Jack Mason: [Burns fires - the gun explodes, killing Burns instantly] ALWAYS check the barrel. [Walks off into distance]"
If Ruger is working on something new and it's ready for sale, they might announce it at the annual meeting. If not, anyone on the plant tour in NH won't learn anything about pisotls. They only make rifles in NH (except for one pistol model). All the pistols are made in AZ. So anything new in pistols will probably come from AZ.
