I agree it may increase unit sales, because they will just switch to other rifles that are not on the list, and they may be able to purchase more of them with the same budget. Also, the paranoia induced by a government which is attacking freedoms and unalienable rights will continue to fuel the surge in buying with more first time buyers coming into the market.
There are TWO Ruger Rifles mentioned specifically:
Bigjohn - only one variant of the mini 14 - its the one that 'looks' tactical. There remain about 25 other variations, including the original wood/blued model which (doesn't have a pistol grip for godds sake) which sells like hotcakes. go try to buy one. The kids out here in AZ have those and use them for plinking and prarie dogs out in the desert.
RGR is going to fly. The shorts are done. There is no hope for the shorts to grind RGR down at this point.
