Hey Remj, SPPI spent a year negotiating with FDA about proper plans for tests and clinical trials. Everything is a go. Just waiting for Raj to sign the contract. Word on the street is Raj doesn't want to have to rely on Roche for rituxan to make Zevalin. Just have to wait and see.
Charming is correct. The PR was was picked up in Biosimilar News letter letting all the biotech pharm companies know that VPRO can make all 6 clones coming off patent in next few years. Apparently fairly easy to make clones; but few can make them with purity required by FDA. It's the new 30 billion dollar industry and VPRO looking for it's first major contract. The good thing is that the VPRO total flop break up going out of business value is 5 times it's current market cap. That includes the Alpha plant, the BPD San Diego plant, the intellectual property from Montreal and 10 years of tax losses.
