Basically, the provision would say that there are category one weapons: handguns, sawed-off shotguns, sawed-off rifles, other firearms that are small enough to store on their person, that to unlawfully possess and carry these weapons would be a felony; but, on the other hand, if you were going to be carrying a rifle or shotgun, a spring gun, other firearm that were used for hunting, then that would be a misdemeanor." • I guess you never learned how to cook a frog.

    • No you haven't. Obama hasn't said a word about taking your guns away. You're making it up.

    • It is not a fact that ANYONE is trying to take your guns away. It is a cheap fear tactic to enrich Wayne Lapierre and keep idiots afraid.

    • Why the dumb masses don't get it is beyond me.

Every dictator, king, tyrant, power hungry politician has always disarmed the masses.

There is only one reason to disarm law abiding citizens. I wish the Dumb Masses would start thinking for themselves.

Try this one on for size:

You have a choice when sending your kid to school. You can have a sign out front that reads either

      A: Gun Free Zone

      or

B: This school employs the use of deadly force to protect its students and faculty.

      Which do you choose?

      what do the liberals choose?

Where to the mass killings occur by nut jobs??? (hint: gun free zones)

I'd like to see all liberas put a sign infornt of their homes: This is a gun free zone

And Conservatives put a a sign that says:

This residence is armed and will use deadly force to protect it inhabitant and property.

    • fear? You have to be kidding me. what fear? It's called facts. If the facts scare you that's your problem.
the fact is BHO has been for gun control his entire political life. Only since he won the primary has he tried to do a Nixion and tack to the center.

he is on record for all his gun control talk. Look it up.

    • I've already linked to it. If you are too think headed to understand what BHO is saying then that's your fault.

    • Lets end the debate...

Here is one thing I think we can all agree on. We are all a bunch of lemmings...regardless of the baseline fundamentals of each party, they are both corrupt as hell and they LOVE it when we debate useless crap like this... because it takes the focus off the real issues and makes everyone ultra partisan which is not where we should be.

Most Amercians (including myself) fall in the middle on many issues, but because of structure that is impossible - you are forced to pick a side. And for me, I don't want to pay any more tax or have a bigger government (except for war) to waste my money.

Where is the logical American's "representation?"
      (1) I am pro-choice but I don't want a baby to have his brains sucked out at 28 weeks either.
      (2) I am pro-gun but think everyone should have to get a permit and fingerprinted (like I did)
      (3) I am for a border fence so we can keep track of who enters our country but I also thinks we need workers from Mexico... I just want to keep out the drug dealers, MS13 gangs, illegal guns, etc..
      (4) I am for small government and ending all the "special interest" items our corrupt congressment and senators (both sides) add to bills so they get financial gain after they leave office.
      (5) I am for finding alternative fuel sources BUT I also know that will take years so in the meantime we need to drill Alaska and our own continental shelf to help the short-term.
      (6) I am for civil liberties, but not the the point where NABLA can stalk children using a public library computer or having NO zoning laws so someone can start a strip club beside my home and ruin my equity (i.e. ACLU)
      (7) I am for privacy but NOT to the point where my 12 year old daughter can get an abortion with school officials help without my knowlegde in the spirit of medial privacy.
      (8) I am pro-having a standard US ID program to end fraud on about 30 different levels.
      (9) I am for privatization of Social Security so the government will stop using my hard earned money as their personal piggy bank.
      etc... etc...

Were is my representation in our government? Honestly, I am fed up with both side.. but I vote Republican because I am foreced to pick the lesser of two evils (best interest of my wallet).

      • on most of those I think we can find common ground.

I'm not for permits and fingerprints. guns was and always will be the ultimate check on gov tranny. If the gov knows who has the guns and where those guns are what type of check is that?

and abortion I disagree. what matter if the baby is 28 weeks old or younger? it's the same person. Her genetic make up doesn't change from the moment of conception to birth. So if you are going to kill him at 8 weeks or 28 weeks what's the difference? There is none.

The rest we can agree on as most people would be able to at least to the point where we can get something passed into law.

    • "no abortion and freedom"

Ah! They're like apple pie and ice cream.
