When I sold all of my shares of GME earlier in early January, I sold them for approx. $4,500 profit. Not bad when I went long the stock March 2011, which means earning thousands of dollars in less than a year's time.
That's insane. It's why I love the stock market.
I've earned over $15,000 selling off (DPS) in 2011 (not counting dividends), in which I was an IPO day 1 long on the stock.
Now I get back into (GME) and thanks to a jobs report that was interpreted positively by Wall Street, I am already in the money around $400 - $500.
I'll be staying long GME for as long as I can accumulating shares for the forseeable future (because I do not plan to rack up as big a debt as I did last year).
Anywho...For all of the SHORTS that want the LONGS to believe GME is a garbage stock I sure have made out like a bandit so far going LONG.
The main reason I sold out of Gamestop was to take care of my big debt I had on Home repair work last year.
I admit being dissappointed in Gamestops overall sales but I also understand that the Holiday story was a software story and a weak Hardware story. Total opposite of 2010. So much assessing of Gamestop's situation took place while I was out of the stock.
Now I ultimately decided to get back in for a large number.of reasons. Mainly I could not find a better value stock.
Anyhow, on March 12th my.chickens.will now hatch so take that Aesop!
