I have the FREQ5, and it is stereo for PC gaming. Its from the Cyborg range of Madcatz products as opposed to the Tritton range. The Cyborg range of products pre-dates the acquisition of Tritton. The FREQ7, is also listed for the PC, but is stated to be 3D, 7.1 surround sound, featuring Dolby Headphone technology. I get directional sound, so the FREQ5 is good for when I'm gaming, but I'm sure there will be a significant upgrade with 3D surround sound. Also, the FREQ head phones are large enough to fit over my big ears and are built with lightweight metal and plastics, very durable. I hope this helps.
