It is extremely unusual. I don't pay that much attention to insider sales if the selling is a partial amount of the persons total position.I tend to weigh the value of the stock without it.
But take a look at any other company in retail, be it Coach, American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, etc all these companies have insider sales THROUGHOUT the year(thereby indicating not much long term growth compared to valuation of other companies(like Deckers).
But DECKERS is the only company without one single insider sale for 13 months! I've explained how undervalued we are just compated to the UGG brand name and if I know this, management knows MORE!
They would just have to be the stupidest people to sell obviously well-beow intrinsic value or desperate for cash(would be shocking as they are paid pretty well relative to the industry).
Either way, its obvious. It has been obvious for a long time which is why we are up 55% in 75 trading days.
We will keep going higher because there is really not much to be afraid of at this level.
