    It truly amazes me

    that mature companies like this can get away with not paying a dividend. I know, i know, some people will say that money is better kept inside the company rather than paying it out, but I say to that "BS". companies that don't pay dividends probably never will and the value of owning shares of such companies amounts to owning nothing -- a nothing that requires a greater fool in order to make a profit on the sale thereof....

    when it became acceptable for mature companies to never pay a dividend, the stock market truly became a casino and nothing more. what is the real value of owning shares of berkshire after all? no value at all in my opinion.
