If DOC were to be a buy, ADSX would be too as the holding company. Tech is indeed very promising as the identification of pets and cattle will become mandatory worldwide. The ear tags and implantable chips are just one solution, but the most promising. Other players? EMRG and a few privately held companies. DOC has the best cards though: most experience in this field, great connections (governments of USA, Canada, Brazil, Italy, ... + companies like Schering-Plough AND Raytheon), biggest working base already in animal ID. But 2005 might be too soon. Yet in Canada cattle ID is mandatory from 1/1/05! The DOC product is one of many approved products Canadian beef industry can use. We have to wait and see. That is the risk!

Just wondering if you were stating you thought DOC was a buy at this level? Their technology sounds very promising. Any other good plays out there? I'm still holding my position in REV and I think it has a good chance of coming back strong. What do you think of WBR (Wyndham Hotels)? I played this under a buck and did reasonably well but sold too early. I also played XYBR this year and did very well. I'm wondering if it's a buy again?
ADSX, maybe i was promoting it when it traded at $2.1. At $6.9 not. Big risk. I've been trading ADSX since the end of 2001. It has been great. Now i took some profits, and increased my position in SATC. Hope this was a smart move.
ADSX has great potential but this company has a very bad history. DOC is the company with the goodies, but low volume stock. ADSX is the holding company anyway, more diversified risk. It paid off bigtime for me, but risky business at these levels. It is a possible TASR though.
