I don't like buy backs. And investment research has shown that I'm not wrong to dislike them. While they are always justified by management as a good investment in undervalued stock, experience suggests that they show a management that has run out of ideas on how to create value through creativity and internal investment in new products. They are a 'last refuge' for management. In this case, I think the stock really, really, is undervalued. So it might be ok. This might be the exception that proves the rule, or whatever. I hope so because the stock drop triggered a purchase this afternoon. I never thought the stock would drop to these levels. Actually I find myself a surprised buyer of more than a few stocks today. Oh boy. So, Go Acxiom , I say.
