Well,as I see it, unions were a good thing once but have gotten totally out of touch. They basically create an increase in the cost of doing business, pay their leaders handsomely, and cause the cost of their productiobn to rise. This in turn, creates a feeling in management that they are entitled to more pay and we are now in a situation where unions have priced themselves out of the market but the business owners keep their raises and get richer along with the union organizers. Look at the state of our governments, state and federal ,for proof. Also note the enormous amounts of union dues spent on campaign contributions to Democrats. Who is losing ground here ? The union worker, many of them are now on the dole.If I were a union guy I would be auditing my union's books bigtime. Just try that and see how far you would get.
