How do arrive at $10? If COCO forward earnings are 10-15 cents and COCO trades at the S&P 500 market multiple of 14.4 times forward earnings, what value is implied? The math says $1.44 - $2.16.
Of course the difference is that the S&P 500 companies are stable, healthy, and growing. Does that mean that COCO, with its ongoing and growing pending litigation claims, precariously close to the edge cash position, declining revenues, and threats from regulators to further disrupt the business should trade at parity with the S&P 500?
Even if you disregard all of the negative factors and thereby value COCO at a market multiple, COCO at current $2.06 is at the top of the range. YIKES!
I combed through the Q report again, really it is expected, not bad at all. The selling of 4 campus is a good news really because they are only 50% filled in average, those closed might be less used. Now commercial real estate is HOT. We can cut expenses and raise capital. Turn around takes times. 10-15 cents is a good start. I am committed to support the management.
