Yesterday was a nice example of how Cornings Price responds to good? news (probably already discounted - all good news is). The speculators drove it up expecting a rise in price! Everyone got excited - even the board (27.05 by end of day!!!). $10M hit the table ($26 times 400k ) approximately. And then the smart money sold and took their profit and then bought at the bottom to start it over.
They continue to amaze me!! So moral of the story: buying on good news isn't a good strategy with Corning. JMHO.
i totally agree with you......but u must remember its the mms that are in control and news [good or bad] means nothing to them except it makes it very profitable for them....just as you described......they are being imo very careful and lining their pockets while they move the pps up...which makes most of us happy ...they are a smart bunch
