In 2003 Covad announced that they would be the primary BellSouth DSL provider. Covad went from $1 to $7 on the news. It is now selling for 80 cents on the AMEX two years later. What the bulls have here is history repeating itself. Hooking up with BellSouth only means something if the public wants the product, and based on EGHT's history that means EGHT shareholders should get to know the Covad feeling shortly.
