hopefully...apple should, it make sense...one stop shopping for phone, wireless, and entertainment - iphone, inetwork, apple tv, apple stores.it's like the canadian telus and rogers, they both offer phone line, wireless, highspeed internet and tv services all-in-one
You got it, beat!Every fanatical iPhone user would switch from T to S (re-branded "iNetwork"). That's millions of people, and Apple would capture every penny of that reoccuring revenue stream. Moreover, APPL would then have a captive audience for additional Apple products.Again, AAPL could pay $20B for Sprint; half of which AAPL would immediately get back via S cash and S investments (for example, the $2.2B worth of CLWR Sprint owns).Apple could then spin off Nextel for a few billion, pay off Sprint debt, and Apple would then have a MASSIVE, nationwide 4G footprint generating $100 of millions of dollars in cash every year.I sense something like this is going to happen, and it is going to ROCK the comms world.
What color is the sky in your world?
The hardware issue would be the same if Verizon got the iphone. Apple would be salivating over sprints data speeds. My HTC Hero gets a 1155mbps that was my last connection speed, checked by mobilespeedtest.com.
