"Neener, neener, neener.. " Childish banter. How old are you guys/gals.. 5 or 8?
What you don't know is dangerous.. to yourselves and all around you.
First off, what we can know about major M&A's is that the majority of them do not work out and the vast majority do not work out as well as investor at first imagine. Over time, the recent history according to the 'studies of studies' shows that over half of them do work out for the better for investors. However, studies also show that the majority of M&A go through from a few quarters to several years adjustment period as the corporate cultures, R&D, purchasing etc. synergies take hold. I posted about a major study a few days ago and suggest rather than posting one-line childish neener, neener posts, you post something more intelligent.
What we know is that we don't know: we don't know a lot because beyond the concept of Softbank +Sprint+Clearwire making sense for multiple reasons, the execution must show if SB-Sprint Corp can beat the odds to show short term increase in the stock price.
"This is a 45 magnum and it can blow your head clean off... well, do you feel lucky punk?"
We know enough to be dangerous at this point.. some linking of the dots is needed to confirm whatever hopes longs, or shorts might banter in the kiddie playground called Yahoo! stock boards.
