    Palin, "Teach creationism in schools."

    Palin, "Teach creationism in schools."
"Teach both. You know, don't be afraid of information. Healthy debate is so important and it's so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both. Growing up with being so privileged and blessed to be given a lot of information on, on both sides of the subject -- creationism and evolution. It's been a healthy foundation for me. But don't be afraid of information and let kids debate both sides."

Sounds great! Use taxpayer money to teach kids nonsense. I love it. (8.5 trillion is not enough debt lets waste more $$.)
She does not belive in global warming but thinks creationism is real. She says, "Don't be afraid of information."
Meanwhile she wants to ban books! LOL

    • Wow 21 ratings! That republican has alot of fake ID's!

    • She must believe in global warming and evolution and all that scientific stuff. How else could SP better understand all of the geological transformation that take place so often in her home state of Alaska? She better beef up on her oil exploration text book if she and her conservative right wingers "outside, and inside the Washington political/corporate 'establishment'" are going to successfully institute offshore drilling, coal exploration, nuclear energy harnessing, and all those MANMADE approaches to saving our planet and her resources. I suppose the religious twist can be helpful in encouraging people to stop having too many kids and see that "the world can no longer afford" to have another "baby boomer" generation, in light of our present energy/ecological/and economic "crisis". Maybe I don't fully understand Governor Palin as to how she intends to transform her religious values into workable politics over the next 4 years, but she seems to have a lot to learn, even though she is pretty GD smart. I was very impressed with her deliver of her VP candidacy acceptance speech!! And let's not forget she knows no matter how much we pray for redemption, the bottom line is that even though she cancelled the jet order for Alaska's governor and quashed the "bridge to nowhere" project, we still must call on our own initiatives and devices to make progress in reaching our personal business and political destinies (as her life is certainly a glaring success story example of!!) since we cannot pray up into the heavens to have a cherished winged angel carry us through the clouds to meet the beltway crowd for a White House cocktail party 5,000 miles due east from Juneau nor can we expect to have prayer allow us to walk on water to reach the remote "bridge too far" island (or turn water into wine) no matter how much Mrs. Palin seems to believe that we must attempt to try to study both the sacred and the secular versions of observing the socially and politically "correct" ways for getting along in the world in these troubled times.

    • I'm sorry, but I just can't believe that sincerely religious folks are grabbing a network megaphone to shout 'Lord, Lord.'

More important: Worship how you like; but read the Constitution before you try to force others. Don't like to uphold the Constitution? Fine, that's your personal choice; but you aren't eligible to take the oath of office.

It's disgraceful that this even needs to be debated.
