I recently learned that I am supposed to be afraid when a stock that I have bought goes up "for no reason." That said, this is exactly where I find myself tonight, and frankly, I think I'll sleep with the lights on.
The stock, BYD, was purchased about 1.7 years ago. It was purchased with a tax basis on the order of $1.85/share. Well, it is up 119% since I bought it, over 11% of that gain was just today.
I really hate this. Not only that, but evidently I have to wait 2 more years before this madness comes to an end.
Apparently you've never ridden a roller coaster. What does it do AFTER it passes the peak?
By the way, I don't follow 1211.HK/BYDDF/BYDDY any more. The fundamentals data was never up to date and really, it is "yesterday's" story. I'm following TSLA now. I'm curious to see if it trades like JSDA (chart it from YE2005 to YE2009) in the future.
