Anyone know what, if anything, is going on at this property? I overheard someone in the casino (this past weekend) say that the property might be closing because they could no longer afford the flood insurance... after the HUGE flood a few years back. This is a great property and the casino is nice. I can't believe they are going to close or sell out.
I hope not. The casino is one of the most enjoyable in the area. They take pains to keep the best slots and usually give quite a few comps. They did close their poker room and their live keno. They also closed a great place to eat--The place where you could get "The Monster" rib-eye. Just when I had my heart set on trying one. Poof! Gone!
