My guess is WY has slightly better earnings than the previous quarter. The small recovery in lumber prices at the end of the quarter helped, along with more revenue generated by the other products. I don't think the stock price will go to new levels, and may be slightly punished by profit taking and bailing of those who expected higher earnings. The real value of WY will be holding it for the next several years and enjoying a modest appreciation in price while being paid a good dividend.
Lumber price continues to rise.Earnings should get better because Sandy rebuilding is moving from demo to building.I was down the shore this weekend and I'm seeing alot of new homes being started.Even bulkhead work has started in earnest. It took alot longer to get going then I ever thought.Brick township building department is flooded with permit applications.Thousands of homes in that area alone need to be repaired or replaced.
