I dont know about anybody else but I think the sooner KG leaves the house the better. I believe it was the package that he set up with E*TRADE that has allowed for total manipulation of the stock...heck, he was even given shares to short as part of the deal!
I'm an old timer. I bought in definitely after the Great Plunge in ETFC, but still I bought too soon. I still have my shares, and they've recovered substantial value. I've also partly recovered by skillfully trading in and out, wash-sale-style. But, I still have an unrealized net loss in ETFC, and I expect that still to be the case when I sell (against a net gain in something else).
I think the Citadel news is neutral. The price decline is dramatic, but we're only trading at/near Feb 1 2013 levels. It wasn't the wheels coming off the stock or the company. Long road ahead, but right direction. ETFC never was a buyout candidate anyway.
