(OTC Bulletin Board: BSDM) announced today that it has now produced over
100 BPH systems as TherMatrx sales have exploded since it received FDA
approval in July of 2001. With only a half year running since its dead start
marketing launch last July, TherMatrx, Inc. (a company in which BSD Medical
Corporation has major holdings) may already be the fastest growing company in
a high-flying new industry that uses microwave therapy to treat benign
prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). "The objective in this business is to sell the
disposables used in treatments," according to Hyrum A. Mead, President of BSD
Medical Corporation, "and the key to selling disposables is to sell as many
systems as possible. Whereas TherMatrx' closest competitor announced that it
had placed 17 systems in its recent quarter, TherMatrx is now requiring five
new systems per week to meet its demand. TherMatrx has caught the market off
guard with a simpler, highly effective and patient-friendly microwave
treatment for BPH."
Now that's what I'm always talking about, the BPH Thermatrx system. BSDM sold the right s for 40 million dollars (they owned only 25 percent of it).....to date I think AMMD sold about 800-1000 units, they are still for sale, and have made a fortune for AMMD in disposables.
NOW, BSDM owns 100% of MicroThermX, and is keeping it for themselves. With European distribution by Terumo, placing 100 units could happen in 6-12 months, in my opinion. And it keeps growing from there. The more they place, the more the market learns about it and it steam rolls.
The replaceable antennas are a CASH COW for BSDM. They are the biggest thing this company has goin for it, and I believe revenues will eventually be in the hundreds of millions down the road.

pump away you clown! it won't do bsdm any good their last dilution he fourth was for 5 million almost 4 months ago bsdm loses 2 million a quarter 7 months and the 5 million will be gone. more dilution coming to a circus close by.
