    A story about Humana's drug company

    It's called RIGHTSOURCERX.
    Humana attempts to push everyone insured for prescription drugs over to RS.
    I have a prescription for DIOVAN It is now available as the generic VALSARTAN
    Walgreens charges $293 for my 90-day supply.
    Rightsource finally has the generic. It is $595.
    So, my 20% co-pay is $124 with RS and $58 with Walmart.
    If you are on the medicare program and take Diovan/Valsartan, BEWARE of the HUMANA pharmacy.

    • I had a similar problem with UNH and their mailorder rx (Prescription Solutions). The drug involved was lovastatin. As I recall, they charged well over $150 for the drug (total cost) I could buy the same drug locally for less than $30 (total cost) and did so. The $30 I was charged locally at Costco was less than the copay was at Prescription Solutions. Prescription Solutions eventually brought their cost down but the last time I checked they we still charging much more than at my local costco pharmacy.;
