    Remember Force Fuels?

"PURE Bioscience Engages Force Fuels, Inc. for Preliminary Testing and Product Research Using SDC in Petroleum Industry

"Proposed Treatment Projects include Oil Wells, Pipelines, Storage and Transportation

"SAN DIEGO (September 14, 2011) – PURE Bioscience, Inc. (NASDAQ: PURE), creator of the patented silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC) antimicrobial, today announced it has hired Force Fuels, Inc. to conduct preliminary testing and product research using SDC in various applications within the petroleum industry, including oil wells, pipelines, storage and transportation.

"Michael L. Krall, President and CEO of PURE Bioscience, stated, “A key focus of Force Fuels’ business is the optimization of marginally producing shallow oil wells through implementation of biofilm reduction and refurbishing technologies. Our technical team will work with Force Fuels’ engineers and scientists to develop protocols, SDC-based formulations and proof-of-concept testing to determine if SDC can be used as an effective biofilm treatment at multiple points in the oil production and delivery process.”

"An electrolytically generated source of stabilized ionic silver in liquid form, patented SDC provides superior antimicrobial efficacy with residual protection while mitigating bacterial resistance. SDC is colorless, odorless, non-toxic and formulates well with other compounds, making it an ideal basis for a broad range of products. SDC is available in pre-formulated, ready-to-use products; including PURE’s disinfectant and food contact surface sanitizer, and is also available in varying strengths of concentrate for use as an additive or raw material."

Thomas C Hemingway was the CEO of Force Fuels (and had been since March 2010) when PURE "hired" them. He is now the IR of PURE and his company, Pillar Marketing, has a $25K/mo consulting contract with PURE.
