    Remember Dendreon

Dendreon was supposed to be the next big thing. Went up over $50 when its prostate drug got approved, only to settle in around $4. When looking at the cost of $80k for that treatment, the product just did not pick up steam. Do you really think with Healthcare reform that the government has an appetite to pay for a drug that costs $200k or more without a cure? The models for adoption and reimbursement are overly ambitious. With the new healthcare reform, it will come down to simple costs vs. benefit analysis. It won't help too much if governments around the world simply refuse to pay based on the return. This is painful news for CF sufferers but this will be the new reality
