Remember what you based your purchase on. Did you do your own research? Was it detailed enough? Has anything changed since your research was done? Were you wrong when you bought? If so, how can you trust your own opinion that you must sell now? I have confidence that I was right when I bought this stock at 10 perhaps you should listen to me as I have been right and you have been wrong. What this little philosophical dialog is meant to do is open your eyes to the strength of trusting YOURSELF. It also illustrates the slippery slope that many investors go down as they try to explain the disparity between their expectations and reality. I never knew anyone who could look at one piece of a puzzle and tell me what the entire puzzle was about. Dont try to explain the daily fluctuations. Only worry about the big picture. BUY, HOLD, GET RICH!
