It is hard to believe that there are people who would want to give the rich another tax break and fund it by taking away food stamps from the very poorest amoung us. It is hard to believe anyone would even think of such a thing much less express such a thought out loud. How do they not feel utter shame for their scorn for their fellow man?
"...Hmmm. Maybe you should review my logic. For starters, it doesn't involve envy or stoning..."
There's little to review. You statements regarding the "wealthy" make little sense. AND, quit going off on tangents to evade the main point. But, of course, as you have shown over and over again, spinning is your delusional outlet.
"...I could go on, but I think I may need to go slow with you..."
Don't flatter yourself Speedy. You sound even sillier when you have nothing of value to say and, resort to insults.
Hmmm. Maybe you should review my logic. For starters, it doesn't involve envy or stoning. For another, it focuses on a wider population.
I could go on, but I think I may need to go slow with you. . .
You need access to a helicopter to travel between your summer home in the Hamptons and NYC, or whatever.
A place in Lake Tahoe for winter skiing and fast vacations and perhaps a villa in Lake Como or Positano.
Now, that's what I'm talking about!
Don't worry Ricky,if you pass a substance abuse test, you can be one of my property care takers!
cisco, personally that doesn't sound too tasty to me. I prefer onion flavored bagels with the "right" kind of margarine. LOL
I also repeat I consider a person to be rich if he or she has at least one mansion (more likely at least 2), a chauffeur, a live-in maid, etc. etc. etc.
"...You are rich based on your income or wealth compared to others. Not on what you think you should be able to buy or whether you "feel" rich..."
So that would explain it...In the slums of India, rustling through piles of garbage, day in and day out, a person accumulated a bunch of smelly torn rags, some rotten cheese, stale bread, a lot of empty cans, a bent bicycle wheel and 14 dead rats... Poor guy - he was stoned to death because his peers were envious of his success and, didn't like the wealthy.
Hmmmm....I just made that up using your logic...
Okay. I thought you meant that they should be taxed on the total amount of assets that they had which would include a house that went up in value but not sold, other income that they already paid taxes on, etc.
