The company announces it is "fast-tracking" its US trials and suddenly the shares are worth 15-20% more than yesterday? You gotta be kidding! I like EDAP a lot, and I both held onto my 5000 share core position and added 3000 trading shares as we fell over the past month. But honestly, NOTHING of substance happened here -- other than a micro buying panic on NO real news. I'm glad I had sell orders in at $7.00 and $7.50 on 1000 shares each, and I continue to be amazed be how stupidly the market can act at times.
I'll keep holding and trading a bit, as I still believe the PPS is undervalued anywhere under $10, but don't get carried away, guys. There is a distinct possibility that today's action is just step one in an organized pump and dump scam, so watch and be smart (i.e. -- don't chase EDAP over $10 unless/until there is some substantive news.) Personally, I'm a seller at $10 or higher.
Hoperalot, failing to be a mindless pumper for everything I own does not make me a basher. There's a time to acquire and a time to sell everything, including EDAP. Keeping a core position and trading a few thousand shares on sudden dips and bubbles has worked pretty well for me -- with EDAP, MMUS, FPP, and a couple of other thinly traded microcaps. Now that EDAP has returned to the $6 range, I've reloaded my trading shares and may acquire a few more. I'll sell a few shares again at $8 -- lower if we rise too fast IMO. My core position stays at least until we hit $20. GL to all EDAP longs.
