Yes, normally. HP is currently doing biz with other dram suppiers. HP may not want the disruption/whining from these folks. It is possible some of those agreements are being allowed to expire before an announcement is made. Remember, HP PR was stated as exclusive. I can't recall HP doing something like that in recent history. It is possible they dont want to come out with a PR until all is set to go, IE NLST production ramp ups. It is near impossible to see progress via a chinese factory rampup producing the HC drams, but if you look at classified ads near Irvine,CA, you will see NLST ads hiring on all levels of management. Also, Allen & Caron may be calling the PR shots. They are inviting/courting institutional buyers. I was extremely surprised the stock went back up so soon. Usually, they accumulate and suppress the stock until just a few days before major news. Then wham, too late for smalls to get in.
