Lots of volume the last couple of days, including
a large day on Friday. I assume most of the selling
was done by institutions or funds getting out before
the end of the quarter. But who was doing the buying?
Was it the company itself? Does anyone have any idea?

    • is not a happy camper? good. when he works his
butt off to increase the share value, all shareholders
are rewarded. hope he is successful.

      does he
appear to be up for the job of growing VDIM? is he a
      competent executive?

    • I don't like the current trading pattern. Volume is generally on the downside, and it looks like the market is forecasting a BAD quarter!

      • I would agree with you that the trading pattern
does not look very good. But we have had some very
heavy volume days in the last couple of weeks, and for
every seller there has to be a buyer. There are far
fewer buyers as is evidenced by the stocks decline, but
I still wonder who the buyers are. VDIM did say in
one of their announcements after the Bain Merger
termination that they would buy back from time to time up to
2 million of their shares at prices up to 15.00 per
share. If they were to do that, they could at todays prices
buy up the entire public float and go private.
Insiders currently own almost 6 million shares of the nine
million shares outstanding.Three million shares purchased
at todays prices would only cost 18 million or
slightly more than one half the amount they said they
would be willing to spend. Any thoughts on this?
