Take a look at the us wireless metrics and you will see that when you think things could get any worse for alltel, it does!
allied lost 84k post pay customers from sept. 2010 through sept. 2011. a staggering loss on a percentage basis for any company. (very little was casued by transition contrary to what you might have been thinking)
arpu appears to have peaked in june and now heading downward. (not seasonal like people think)
postpay churn higher in 2011 versus 2010 sept. (their competition is trending lower) oops!

i realize it's a competitive industry but alltel could be doing much better where they provide services.
