BZH/Crossman orders are up just 1.5%...

so be careful with the market the way it is!
    http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/020805/atm005_1.html
New orders for the month ended July 31, 2002, include orders from Crossmann Communities, Inc., which Beazer acquired effective April 2002. On a pro forma basis, new orders for the month ended July 31, 2001, including Crossmann's orders would have been 1,244.

(1263-1244)/1244= 0.01527 Or 1.527% increase from Last year.

    • Crossman's were down...
      Combined they were up 1.5%
      Looks like Crosman's territory
      will benefit from BZH management.
      I see Crosman's territory improving.

      Charlie Tofu/Grandpa Stupid:

As noted, I shorted this pig at 59.29 this morning, currently up $2040 and rising. You (see below, windbag), on the other hand, are currently down about $600 and falling (if we actually believe that you "bought at the day's lows" on your 2nd tranche).

I can be a big guy, though: I'll let you know when I cover.

<<The honorable Charlie Chan is in the homebuilders and motorhome makers for 18 more years but, obviously, Charlie sells out at market peaks and buys back in at the bottoms. Charlie Chan is not as stupid as Yuri/Kodiak thinks.

Charlie put 50 grand in every builder and motorhome stock today. (at or near their market lows).

      08/02/2002 BOUGHT 500 BZH 59.75 $29,887.50
      08/02/2002 BOUGHT 300 BZH 55.76 $16,735.50

Now that Charlie is back in, I would strongly suggest that the short selling bashers close out their short positions in after hours trading.>>

    • Charlie,

When you post as Olga, do you put on panties and a bra? Some folks said you did but I didn't know for sure. Also, when you post as Charlie Chan, do you do the scotch tape and eyelids thing?

As Guru do you put on Groucho Marx glasses and nose? And when you're working with Tofu, do you put on those wax buck teeth?

You are a piece of work, although sometimes people don't use "work"--how is that buy signal on BZH at 94 holding up.

Kodiak promised to let us know when he covered his BZH short position. I wonder if he still considers BZH a pig?

      the honorable Charlie Chan

    • Kodiak, had you used the same 20/20 hindsight to sell TOL that you used to sell BZH short and then used the same 20/20 hindsight to cover TOL at the low - you would be rich. It's so much fun shorting in a distribution phase.
