Under $3, this company was/is a steal, so it is no wonder to me as to the rise today. The market is waking up to the fabulous value and growth prospects this company brings to the table, IMHO.
Their 6 analysts conservatively calculate the company's NAV at around $240M (that does not include either of the two deals they announced, for the most part). Even after today's gain, the company is selling for about $170M or about 70% of NAV.
If you properly blend in the Hobson purchase and the sale of the Cebolleta project for $11M (note: they paid about $3.5M for this two years ago), you should arrive at a NAV somewhere close to $500M I think, even assuming a sanguine and static uranium pricing of $60/lb.
From a technical perspective, MACD went positive in a major way today.
And in conclusion, since UEC is clearly focused in Texas, I think it is only fitting and appropriate to quote a friend of mine............
P.S. Did anyone out there notice that UEC traded at $3.38 in the after-market?? Me thinks it should be a very interesting few weeks ahead. 8>)
