They call the past 10-12yrs the lost decade. Overall average market returns have been poor. Vector, on the other hand, since 1999 has split 10 times awarding 105 for 100 shares. If you had 1000 shares of VGR in 1999, you have 1500 today. VGR has a 9.7% div'd yield, ($1.60 per share). At 9.7% dividends reinvested double ones money inside of 7yrs. What's not to like?
Take a look at the 5 year chart $15-$22 like clock work it got bashed by Crammer droped to around $13 about 2 months ago look at it now as long as divi is sustained were ok! I have had this stock for five years steady performer! I dont see it going past $22 unless we get a divi increase or buy out news! I think if you want to get in wait for a dip and load up!
