sky--I agree with most of your post except for the last part. I bought PFE and it keeps going lower. I have sold some calls on the way down, but I'm still underwater. I would welcome a 5% return at this point. Ditto for my investment in CMED so far. But, I once held RIMM as it sunk lower and lower, and vowed that I would get my money back at the first opportunity RIMM gave me. Ouch! What a big mistake. Hoping CMED will be a similar story.
Of course, it is not so much upcoming earnings that is the issue, as much as guidance at that time. If guidance confirms continued high growth rate, then CMED should finally take off. If that happens, most of us here are in a position to realize how undervalued we are and should be ahead of the curve in terms of buying more quickly before the crowd. If guidance disappoints, well...let's skip that for now. Good luck to you and other longs.
