Yes tinkutony I think the bubble has burst for ETN. I've just done some research and DJI is down 20% in the last 12 months but ETN is down 40% over the same period. ETN is tied in with auto and aerospace which have a poor outlook and their electrical division built from Cutler Hammer and then Westinghouse has been added to over the last 5 years and is a ragbag of assorted brands and distribution channels. Couple that to the inward focus of all their management systems and lack of global understanding and you have cause for concern.
I actually see this stock headed closer to 50. My take is based on my read of the Aerospace sector that I work in and the drastic dropoff in order intake over the last 2 months. We were told this was the sector that was going to pull us through the anticipated downturn in the other sectors. Not happening.
Not today. How's that for a brilliant opinion? If you are truly asking for comment regarding a 15% price drop, that is a comment. Offer reasons why you think it should or will be at $60, I'm sure there are several.
