Name the assets you are speaking of and give the context of whatever was said. If you're unable to do that then you would be wise to stop blubbering. I happen to be doing quite well with my portfolio despite the downturn in the market in the past week. But then you wouldn't know what "portfolio" means since you don't have one.
I have 22 different stocks and funds and every single one of them is above their 52 week low. All but four are above their 52 week lows by double digit percentage gains. That means +10% or more if you don't understand. I have net unrealized gains in every stock that I have bought in the past month (BDCL, MLPL, NCT and GALE). I have a net total return gain on 18 of the 22. But then I am a long term dividend investor and you don't know what that means. LOL
I am always glad to share my portfolio holdings. That is quite unlike the trolls on this forum who never post their holdings (assuming they even have investments). The two investments with what I think are the highest risk levels in my portfolio are both biotechs - GALE and NAVIDEA. I have unrealized gains in both since I bought low and they represent a very small percentage of my portfolio, but they also have the highest potential for reward.
