The cost of healthcare is just way too high. So much so that insurance is necessary. To help control costs, Kroger stores have established and are expanding "mini-clinics" at more affordable prices. In a dream world where healthcare was affordable, we could pay the provider directly and get rid of both government and insurance companies --both of which gobble up huge financial resources. Speaking of gobbling up resources, ever notice that hospitals are constantly expanding? Most have so many additions that you need a map and GPS to avoid getting lost.
mintwaxed, you nailed it. The hospital in the area where I live actually tried to pass a bond to expand. It would have raised property taxes on everybody in the county. The vote against it was huge only 20% voted for the tax increase 80% said hell no.
Not many people know that Obamacare was written by the insurance and big pharma industries and signed before it was even read by our elected idiots.
It's all about money and some are starting to wake up and realize that Obamacare will destroy any chance of this lousy economy getting any better.
The fed even mentions pulling the plug on the printing press and we lose 10% or more in stock market value. The whole economy was based on helicopter Ben printing more money.
How could anyone think that spending more on health care would help the economy grow? There are 50 million people on food stamps. How could anyone think these people will be able to pay a penalty for not being able to afford Obamacare??
As far as the market goes it looks to me like we are in for another 2008-2009 crash this time it will be much worse because the market was in a huge bubble due to all the printing that Ben did.
Look out below this market will go timber if Ben pulls the plug on Obama's fake economy.
