So far, i like the moves by new management (Jung and co.)
They are quite rational. Just look
1. Buy Panama's business to complete the geographical area. 2. Change Risco to Ciel and let Coca-cola concentrate on advertising and promoting the brand name and let Panamco concentrate on the bottling business.
Good points. We should also note that the Panama deal not only completes a geographic area, and expands market share, but those sales are in US dollars! That should offset some of the adverse consequences of currency devaluations in the region.
I definitely like all the moves that have been made. Jung is a shrewd manager and he has tons of experience with how a bottler should run. He knows the operational side very well. Franqi is equally impressive. A graduate of Wharton, Stanford, great finance experience, and she is very well in tune with the cola bottling industry as well.
But what is the market thinking? Why do we continue to see weakness in the stock price? No matter, I say BUY!!!
