Gregofuse, Enjoyed your comments as well as gynnnj thoughts.Personnally, I remembers when Mexico devalued their peso and everyone was running from mexico and latin america stating how dangerous of a place it was to invest. I had Telemex at $32.00 watched it drop to $22.00, got nervous and sold. Today it trades somewhere in the 40's I think. As for me and my household we will serve out our time and be patient. My only wish is that I had more $$$ to buy some more. Someday PB will trade at between 40 & 50 and we'll be glad we hung in for the ride.
I just remember the missed opportunity of IBM in the mid $40's and Walmart at 19.25. I passed on Big Blue and sold WMT after a quick profit. Today, a hundred shares of IBM would be around $30,000 and Walmart around $14,000 taking into consideration splits.
My point is this, short term there are always reasons to sell or not to buy, but to really see a big gain one must look out five years. I had some PB awhile back at $30 and got nervous and sold at $40. Thank god I did, but this could be a great opportunity in a region if everyone gets hit and hit hard. Imagine KO at $10! While PB will never approach KO, WMT, or IBM standards, this will be a gift horse at $12-15 if Latin America falls hard. You may never see PB in that range again. If it falls, I'll be buying 1000 shares in my IRA and regular accounts and watch the coca-cola monopoly continue to flourish south of the boarder! Good luck!
