It doesn't matter what a few individual shareholders think about the CEO.
She is in a sweet deal for current income and retirement benefits. I'm going to take a guess and assume that FTR will owe Maggie $50m - $75m of retirement benefits. Could be more but probably not less. The stock has been diluted way, way down and the price is in the tank. FTR has large and growing retirement funding gaps -- it's going to take 2 years cash flow of the next 10 years to fund the accounts. FTR is going to morph into a retirement machine before your very eyes fellas..
Yes. The stock is going nowhere. I should have sold most, if not all my position at $4.70 or so, at a small loss instead of hanging on with three-quarters of it. I'll be out if it ever gets back in that area. It'll take another year and more to get whole on this one, provided the dividend isn't cut further. Big mistake to ever get into FTR. Fortunately French Telecom (ORAN) has done a lot better for me. Imagine that - French ! In Europe !
I bailed out at $4.56 ,LOST SOME MONEY BUT REALLY BROKE EVEN WITH THE DIVIDENDS, I might get back in if the stock drops back to the $3.70s.
I just could not take all the lying that Maggie did and does.
